Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Acid Brights

I am so excited to be reviewing the MAKEUP REVOLUTION REDEMPTION PALETTE ACID BRIGHTS. This is an eye shadow palette that has the 12 funkiest colours to use. I got my palette from an instagram page : online_makeup_store_India. It comes at 950 INR for 14 gm of the product. Makeup Revolution products are also available on http://www.nykaa.com/ . Their official website is http://www.makeuprevolutionstore.com/ . The packaging is very basic, yet classy.

Getting straight to the details, let's begin with the packaging.

                                                    1. The product comes in a hard package which has a transparent space on it for the clear differentiation of shades. It has REVOLUTION written on the bottom of the front side. It is made up of hard plastic not easily breakable,

2. The back side of the palette contains all the informative details like ingredients, quantity, name of manufacturer, etc. It DOES NOT have the price printed anywhere in the package.

3. The product DOES NOT have a mirror of it's own. You will have a carry a mirror separately if you are to use the palette outdoors. Having said that, it has it's own applicator :)

4. The usual space for the applicator to fit in.

5.This is how the applicator looks, It can be used both ways which is great, The applicator is also very light weight.

7. Talking about the shades, it has 12 of the brightest shades starting from neon to white to black to grey. (This picture shows the shades from left to right of the palette).

 Now, the most important part of it: SWATCHES .

Now the most important part of the review: SWATCHES. I will be posting pictures of both the shades and the swatches on the back of my hand in groups of FOUR.

SWATCH 1.  This is the swatch of the first four colours from the palette. As you can see from the picture, these are extremely light on the skin. (They are two strokes per shade)

SWATCH 2: This is the swatch of the next four colours from the palette. As you can see from the picture, these appear shimmery on the skin. These shades are not as light as the previous four colours. (They are two strokes per shade)

SWATCH 3: This is the swatch of the last four colours from the palette. As you can see from the picture, these appear matte on the skin, except the silver shade. (They are two strokes per shade)

PROS: 1. Light weight.

                                          2. Comes with it's own applicator.

                                                            3. Contains both matte and shimmery shades.

                      CONS:1. Cannot be used as an everyday eye shadow palette.

2. Does not come with a mirror.

                    3. The shades are not very much pigmented.
