ELLE 18 Color Pop Matte Lipsticks- Berry Bestie & Mauve Date

What's up with you guys? I had a very busy week! I enjoyed myself thoroughly this Durga Pujo ^_^ And by enjoyment, I mean that I ate a lot of delicious food *_*
But now, since all the enjoyment is over, I am back with putting up blog posts for you beautiful people out there :)
So today's post is all about the newly launched ELLE 18 Color Pops Matte lipsticks *_*
This range has been quite a recent introduction to their line of cosmetics. Previously they had only the cream lipsticks. But now, ELLE 18 has brought in 20 new shades of matte lipsticks.
I will be, however, mentioning two shades only and talking about the product in general.
BRAND:
ELLE 18
AVAILABILITY:
1. Any drug store.
PRICE:
Each lipstick is priced at INR 100 for 4.3 ml of the product.
PACKAGING:
ELLE 18 has kept its packaging consistent. It is the same black coloured tube that the lipstick comes in with a black coloured cap attached to it. However, I personally think that the packaging of the matte lipsticks are more sturdy as compared to the cream lipsticks.
These lipsticks are travel friendly and all the information pertaining to date of manufacture, product price, shade name, etc. are mentioned in the tube itself.

This is the shade catalogue that has all the 20 shade names mentioned. I love the fact that they have given names to their lipsticks ^_^ thumbs up to that!!(However, the shades shown here may differ from the shades in person. )

Now, the two shades that I have are BERRY BESTIE and MAUVE DATE.
WHY TO BUY? (key benefits that the company states)
1. Intense color in one stroke
2. Matte Texture
3. 20 shades to choose from
WHAT I THINK?
It does satisfy the above mentioned points.
PROS:
1. Although matte, it does not chap the lips making them dry as a desert.
2. The color pay off is much better than their previous cream lipsticks.
3. Very affordable for college students and beginners at make up.
4. Travel friendly.
CONS:
1 Stays intact on the lips for a maximum of 2.5-3 hours, without meals and drinks.
2. Although matte, it is not completely transfer proof.
